Why the Fuck Does ZeroFucks Exist?

I bought zerofucks.io on a whim.

No business plan. No grand vision. No fucking clue what I was going to do with it.

I just liked the domain.

And then I realized I didn't actually need to know.

zerofucks.io is my corner of the internet.

A place where I can build whatever the fuck I want.

Some things will be ridiculously complicated. Some things will be completely useless. Some might become companies. Some might die in three days. Some might never leave my laptop.

I don't care.

I'll write here. I'll build here. I'll experiment here. I'll break shit here. I'll document things here. I'll have stupid ideas here. I'll have ideas that turn out to be surprisingly fucking good here.

And eventually, other people will be able to use some of the things I build here too.

There won't be a single theme.

There doesn't need to be.

One day I might build a deeply engineered virtualization system.

The next day I might make a stupid little website because I wondered if I could.

Another day I might write 2,000 words about some idea that won't leave my head.

And another day I might make a fucking T-shirt for no reason.

That's the point.

ZeroFucks isn't a startup. It isn't a portfolio. It isn't a company. It isn't a content brand.

At least, not necessarily.

It's a place for curiosity to go.

I want to document the things I build instead of letting them disappear into old Git repositories, forgotten notes, and conversations.

I want to be able to look back years from now and see what I was thinking, what I built, what I believed, what I fucked up, and what somehow worked.

And if someone else finds something useful, interesting, funny, inspiring, or completely fucking insane along the way...

Even better.

So yeah.

This is zerofucks.io.

I have zero fucks about what I'm supposed to build.

I'm going to build what I want.

Let's see where that goes.
